Dear Newport Harbor Animal Hospital family,
We are sad (for us) and happy (for Dr. Wade) to announce Dr. Wade’s retirement. She has been an exceptional doctor and member of our team here at NHAH for decades! We understand change is tough, especially when you have developed a great relationship with an amazing veterinarian. Our staff knows you and your pets, and we are confident that amongst our other veterinarians you will find a great fit for you and your pets. We would like to pass along Dr. Wade’s message:
On December 22nd, after almost 40 years of practicing veterinary medicine- a profession I love- I will be retiring. I would like to thank the wonderful clients of NHAH. Over the 22 years I have worked at the hospital many of you have become more than a client- you have become a friend, sharing your pets and your lives with me. I have enjoyed seeing you get married, have children, watching your children grow up, hearing about your vacations/careers and even seeing you lose 60 pounds and keep it off (You do look marvelous!). We have also been together in times of sadness- the loss of a much-loved pet and even a family member. I sincerely hope that you will continue to be clients of NHAH. I used to joke you got 8 second opinions as in the office, the doctors often discuss difficult or unusual cases to get the best outcome for your pet. Technicians, kennel attendants and receptionists know your pets as well. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives, I will treasure the memories.
