1. Now I understand why so many people i know go to this vet. This place is amazing. Everyone is so nice and more importantly they really care and we're so great with my dog Otis. My regular vet was unexpectedly closed and I am so happy that I was able to get into see this vet. 10 stars!!!

  2. Had to put my elderly cat down and was helped through the process by an extremely kind, caring, sympathetic, and knowledgeable staff. A really painful process was aided by everyone we came across at the clinic and I would highly recommend the hospital for animal care in any level.

  4. I brought my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for an annual with Dr. Wind. Her exam was was impressive and so thorough. She not only listened to my concerns, but, in addition, researched my queries in order to address them while at the appointment! I am so appreciative of her sincere, caring and therapeutic manner. Dr. Wind's attentive ear and sincerity is extremely welcome and embraced. I am so grateful my Cavalier has such a dedicated veterinarian to address his current needs and future ones, as well.   9. Dr. Owens was so great with our dog,Leo. She is a very compassionate and skilled Vet. She realized that Leo was super sensitive to sound when nervous and worked around this in a very caring way when preparing for a kidney biopsy. She explained his condition well. Although, his disease was not ultimately curable, we appreciated her skill and caring manner.

  10. I love this place! I just got my little 8 week old goldendoodle and she was having stomach issues. I was SO worried it was parvo because she hasn't had all of her shots yet and I was an absolute wreck. Dr. Sarah Wind was so kind and genuinely cared for Delia (my puppy). Turns out it's just stress and dietary. It was pretty expensive but the doctors and receptionists are so sweet, it is worth it. Delia also goes to day boarding which is only 10 DOLLARS for the whole day! So reasonable. And she seems to love it. If anything changes I will update this review but so far, so good!

  11. Very friendly service! My cat and I are new patients, and I was so impressed they were able to take me in on a Saturday!! (no appointment) The Dr and assistant were so good with my cat. They checked her thoroughly and the staff was so nice answering my questions.

  12. I bring my puppy here during the week for day boarding. The staff is super friendly and are very good with my puppy. He loves coming here. He also has his check ups here as well. The veterinarians are very informative , patient, and nice. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic to anyone

  14. I just love Newport Harbor Animal Hospital! I have had only positive experiences. They take care of my 4 cats and they are very gentle, kind, and caring of my fur babies. I couldn't ask for a better Veterinarian help. Their prices are very reasonable and their front office staff are kind too. Can't recommend them enough

  15. Excellent service & staff! Helped my very shy and nervous fur baby feel so comfortable. She came in barking like crazy "Where did you take me mom!!" to so calm and happy, wagging her tail and not barking at the staff anymore. My GSD can be a little intimidating, but these girls handled her like a pro! Definitely my new veterinarian!! Oh & accommodated same day appointment, this is what really brought me in. Thank you NHAH!

  16. NHAH has been so incredible to us! Ever since our pups first (and luckily only!) emergency, they have been an incredible support to us. As our pup is now older dr Osborne has been a great help in trouble shooting hip issues. She is so kind to our rescue pup and the staff is always professional, positive and kind. I love that they have extended hours and you can always text instead of sitting on hold. Their prices are competitive and I would (and do!) recommend them to everyone!

  17. I have left another 5 star review for this hospital, but an update one is warranted. I live over an hour away from this hospital but it is SO worth the drive. Everyone is so kind and compassionate. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, open, and straightforward about the care my dog needed. I've worked in the animal industry for almost 9 years, but this team blows me away every time. They are way above and beyond industry standard. I highly highly recommend them to anyone with pets.

  19. I have had really good experiences bringing my pets to this office. Both pups recently got their teeth, cleaned and they did a fantastic job. They also flagged a blood pressure issue regarding one of my pups and I am very grateful that I was made aware so I can look into it and determine if he needs medication.

  20. I must update my review immediately! This veterinary office (specifically Dr. Osborne) is absolutely amazing. Our dog came down with an extremely itchy skin condition and I was freaking out about what it could possibly be.. not only did the vet reassure me and give me all the answers I needed to ease myself and not panic, my dog left tail wagging in confidence. Thank you a million times for your time and patients and being extremely understanding and kind. My fur babies thank you too! Our new GO TO vet office.

  21. Almost 2 months ago, I had to put down my sweet orange tabby Tony due to kidney disease . He was still very young but I made sure to give him the best life I could . All of his appointments for blood work were with our favorite Dr Akashi. She always did her best to offer the best treatments for my Tony and also made sure he was at a comfortable state. I am so thankful for all of her caring and hard work she offered while Tony was with us . That is why I trusted her with all my heart for her to be the one to put Tony down. The staff was very kind and sweet with their comforting words during that difficult moment. Thank you NHAH, I will continue trusting you all with my current cat Mushu and with any future pets

My dog is pregnant and the team here made sure to take all the right steps to ensure a safe delivery, and I am so grateful for them!   25. Took my dog in to have ears checked, as he was scratching a lot. Dr Owen biopsied. Yeast discovered. Treated both ears. Exam very thorough. Dr Owen and all staff professional and pleasant. Always feel my dog is well taken care of when consulting NHAH. Thank you All :))
