Veterinarian
Dr. Jenna Toor is an associate veterinarian at Newport Harbor Animal Hospital. She has always had a deep love for animals and is honored to be part of a team that provides compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.
Originally from Visalia, California, a small town in the Central Valley, Dr. Toor grew up in a family of farmers surrounded by agriculture, which sparked her lifelong interest in animal care. In addition to welcoming many pets into her home, she raised livestock for FFA in high school and volunteered at her local SPCA.
Dr. Toor earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include urgent care, diagnostic imaging, and surgery—one of the many reasons she enjoys the variety that general practice offers. She completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, where she majored in Animal Science and minored in Viticulture and Enology. While at Cornell, she was also a member of the Varsity Women’s Equestrian team.
She believes that great veterinary care starts with strong communication and trust. Her goal is to ensure that every pet owner feels heard and that each patient receives the best possible treatment tailored to their needs.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Toor enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, riding horses, and being with family and friends. She is grateful to be part of the Newport Harbor Animal Hospital family and looks forward to meeting new clients and their furry companions.
